Training Groups

What’s a Training Group? In addition to small groups, we offer training groups to help equip you on your walk with Christ! These are usually book studies where a group of students read a chapter each week and gather to discuss and apply the concepts together. These groups are great for those hoping to go deeper in their faith, who want to mature as a leader, or to explore a particular area of the Christian faith.

This year, we are offering two different training groups during the Fall Semester!

Holier Than Thou with Hannah Kozacheson

Overview: Holier Than Thou by Jackie Hill Perry explores the holiness of God and how encountering His holiness transforms the way we understand ourselves, sin, and grace. Jackie emphasizes that God’s holiness is not merely intimidating but deeply good, drawing us toward worship, repentance, and a life shaped by His character. The book challenges Christians to pursue holiness not through self-righteousness, but through knowing and becoming more like a holy God.

Leader: This training group will be led by Hannah Kozacheson.

Where: The InterVarsity House: 222 S. College Ave.

When:  Mondays from 9:30 am – 11:00 pm

Cost: $10 to cover the book
