In response to God’s love, grace, and truth:
The purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Delaware is to establish and advance witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for…
The Bible, Old and New Testaments, are God’s perfect and inspired Word. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we encounter God when we read, hear, study, and obey the Scriptures.
We respond to God’s word to us by speaking to Him in prayer. Individually and corporately, we lift up our praises, confessions, thanks, and requests to God through Christ.
Christianity is a communal religion where God redeems individuals in need of one another. We strive to become a fellowship marked by authenticity, love, patience, and grace.
InterVarsity is not a church but a parachurch ministry sent by partner congregations to campus. We strive to equip our members to be lifelong and active members in a local body.
Jesus sends us to spread the message of his triumph over sin, death, and judgment with all. Our desire is to invite everyone on campus to find abundant life in Christ by professing faith in him.
We pursue ethnic and racial justice, individual and systemic, on campus and in the world through the transforming power of the gospel, longing to be reconciled to one another.
Longing to see His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven, we send students to make disciples of all nations. This starts on campus, then overflows to cross-cultural mission trips.
We promote thoughtful reflection and study in order integrate faith, life, and vocation, knowing that God has revealed much of Himself through the created world.
We develop and empower students to use their diverse gifts and callings to become Christ-like servant leaders on campus and in the Kingdom of God.
