Training Groups

What’s a Training Group? In addition to small groups, we offer training groups to help equip you on your walk with Christ! These are usually book studies where a group of students read a chapter each week and gather to discuss and apply the concepts together. These groups are great for those hoping to go deeper in their faith, who want to mature as a leader, or to explore a particular area of the Christian faith.

This year, we are offering two different training groups during the Fall Semester!

Side by Side with Erin Hogan

Overview: Side by Side by Ed Welch is a short, practical book on how ordinary people can care for each other in deep, Christ-centered ways. College can feel isolating, but this book equips you to both give and receive help in friendships that go beyond surface level. If you want to grow in real community and learn how the gospel shapes everyday relationships, this is a must-read.

Leader: This training group will be led by Erin Hogan.

Where: The InterVarsity House: 222 S. College Ave.

When:  This group will meet Mondays from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm starting September 8th.
